1. Can all my locks be rekeyed, so they all work with just one key?

All your locks can be set to the same key, provided that they all share the same keyway. Try this: Take the key that works in your front, or main door. Try to insert it into the other locks you want to change. If it enters fully and easily, those locks can most likely be set to work with the same key. There are some locks that cannot be rekeyed, but those locks are very rare.

2. If I lose my keys, do I have to replace all my locks?

We can usually access all of your locks in your home, or commercial building, and rekey them. This is less expensive than replacing the locks. When replacement is required, our extensive inventory and service personnel will have you inside and secure on the same day.

3. Which locks can you repair?

A great many kinds of locks can be repaired. Lock manufacturers generally make three classifications of their products, and grade them according to their strength and durability. 4. I do not know the combination of my safe, or I have lost my key, can you open it?

Yes. We have technicians who specialize in safe, vault, and safe deposit lock servicing. 5. Do I need battery backup for my CCTV system?

We recommend battery backup for every part of your security system that is power dependent. In the event of power outage the battery backup will assist in preventing crime. Please bear in mind, however, that power will last only as long as your battery charge allows. 6. What if I lose my vehicle keys?

For lost vehicle keys, we are able to generate new keys without needing to replace the locks. We can duplicate keys, program smart keys/ remotes and maintain an inventory for most all makes and models.

7. Can Howard Safe and Lock service/ monitor my existing burglar alarm?

We can service and monitor most existing alarm system. There are some commercial applications where proprietary equipment may not allow for a takeover.
